CoQ10 and Exercise

Recent study shows CoQ10 may reduce muscle damage during intensive exercise.

Supplements of co-enzyme Q10 may counter the rise in oxidative stress associated with strenuous exercise and reduce subsequent muscle damage, says a new study with ultra-runners participating in a 50 km run across Europe’s highest road in the Sierra Nevada.

Bio-Identical Hormones

I have added Bio-Identicals to my practice.  Prescriptions of these medicines contain the exact amount of each hormone needed for each individual's optimal health.  Lab tests are specialized beyond the typical ones ordered by most doctors.  The hormones are derived from plant based sources unlike the synthetic hormones customarily prescribed.  There are many hormones that decline with age.  The American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M) is the current  standard for teaching, certifying and researching the relationships between aging and new treatments including bio-identicals.  We now offer these services by an A4M Board Certified MD.
