Scientists have discovered a more complete picture of what triggers the immune response in gluten intolerant individuals. Inflammation toxicity and Depression
Recent findings reported in the British Medical Journal report that higher levels of inflammation (cytokines) are found in people suffering with depression. By extension we may see that toxic diets, environment and lifestyles are responsible, in part, for depression. The role of natural medicine, healthy lifestyle and diet may be even more important than previously thought. I have found that detox diets, massage and various supplements can and do help enormously with the treatment of depression and related disorders. We now may have proof as to why.
